Terms of Service

Job Watch monitors the careers pages and applicant tracking systems of companies you choose, and emails you when a newly published role matches the keyword and location filters you set.

We do not host job listings, we are not a recruitment agency or an employer, and we do not apply to roles on your behalf. Every link we send points to the listing on the company’s own job board.

This matters more than most sections, so it is stated plainly rather than buried:

• We find roles by checking pages on a schedule. Your plan determines how often (currently hourly on Individual, every 15 minutes on Business). Nothing can reach you sooner than the next check of that company.
• Coverage is not guaranteed to be complete. Some career pages can only be read partially, change format without notice, or block automated access. Where we can only confirm part of a board, we say so in the product rather than implying a full count.
• We report what a company published. We do not verify that a listing is genuine, current, or that the employer will respond.
• Roles that existed before you started are not sent. Adding a company records what is already posted as a baseline, and only roles found after that point can generate an alert.

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for an opportunity missed because an alert was delayed, incomplete, or not sent.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. One account is for one person or, on the Business plan, one team or organisation. Accounts may not be resold or shared beyond that.

You agree not to use the service to send unsolicited messages, to resell our alerts as your own data product, or to attempt to overload or circumvent the limits of your plan.

• A new subscription begins with a 5-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial.
• At the end of the 5 days, the plan renews automatically and your card is charged the plan price, monthly, until you cancel.
• We send an email before the trial ends, stating the date and the amount, so the first charge is never unannounced.
• Cancel at any time from your billing page. Cancelling during the trial means you are charged nothing at all. Cancelling later stops the next renewal; the current paid period runs to its end.
• The free trial is available once per account. Prices shown at checkout are what is charged; payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card details.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

Because the trial lets you evaluate the service in full before any charge, we do not offer refunds by default for a period already begun. If you were charged in error, or something on our side stopped working and we did not put it right, write to us — we would rather resolve it than argue about it.

Statutory rights that apply to you under the consumer law of your country are not affected by this section.

What we collect and why is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: an email address, the companies you choose to monitor, and the filters you set. You can delete your account and its data at any time.

You may stop using Job Watch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or discontinue the service entirely — in which case we will give reasonable notice by email and will not charge for a period not delivered.

If your subscription lapses, your monitors and their history are kept rather than deleted, and resume where they left off if you subscribe again.

These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, and disputes fall to the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you a different forum.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
